1. revisit = ~을 다시 논의 하다. (희망적인)

Why don't we revisit this in the morning? = 내일 얘기해 보는게 어때?

We'll revisit this another time. = 다음에 다시 얘기해 보자.

 

2. get to it = 시작/착수하다. (시작에 초점을 맞추고 있는 표현)

I'll get to it tomorrow. = 내일 한번 볼게.

I'll get to it after this. = 이거 끝나고 시작 할게.

I'll get right to it. = 지금 당장 시작 할게.

 

3. meet me in the middle/meet me halfway = 서로 양보/타협 할때

Why don't you meet me halfway? = 우리 중간에서 타협하는게 어때?

 

4. did research = 알아보자. (research를 연구하다로만 알고 있었는데...)

I did a lot of research. = 나 정말 많이 알아봤는데.

I did some research. = 나 좀 알아봤는데.

 

5. Set in stone = 확정된 (돌에 세기는 느낌)

Is it set in stone? = 이거 확정된 거야?

It's not set in stone. = 확정된 거 아니야. (=We can actually change them. = 바꿀수 있어)

Nothing is set in stone. = 확정된 건 아무것도 없어.
